Lower Two Medicine Lake is in the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Northwestern Montana. The upper lake is in Glacier National Park.
This is a small portion of the Montana ghost town was the first capitol of the State of Montana. When the gold from the local mines started to disappear, so did the population. The deserted town is now a state park.
Chief Mountain is located in Glacier National Park, Montana. It’s also on the edge of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation and considered a sacred place by the native americans. The elevation at the summit is over 9,000 ft.
These old ore carts are reminders of the gold mining towns in the Western U.S. during the 1800’s. This image was taken last year at a ghost town in southwestern Montana. Processing was done to achieve an “older” photo look.
