The Maroon Bells are the most photographed mountain peaks in Colorado.

Chief Mountain

Chief Mountain is located in Glacier National Park, Montana.  It’s also on the edge of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation and considered a sacred place by the native americans.  The elevation at the summit is over 9,000 ft.

These old ore carts are reminders of the gold mining towns in the Western U.S. during the 1800’s.  This image was taken last year at a ghost town in southwestern Montana.  Processing was done to achieve an “older” photo look.

Re-visiting Glade Creek Grist Mill

This old mill is located in Babcock State Park, West Virginia.  Taken in the afternoon with some diffusion and saturation added to give it a rich postcard effect.

Peyto Lake

Peyto Lake is just off the Icefields Parkway in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada

End of the Road

This is the end of the one road that runs through Telluride, Colorado.  This box canyon is about two miles out of town and the road becomes a 4 X 4 jeep trail.

Mabry Mill

Mabry Mill is an iconic landmark along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Southern Virginia.  Built in 1910, it served the local community for over 20 years grinding corn for cornmeal, grits, and animal feed. It is still operational today, but more for tourists than commercial milling.
