Pearson Falls

Pearson Falls is located in Western North Carolina, near Saluda.  I aways enjoy photographing waterfalls, especially with the rich colors of the fall foliage.

A female Cardinal perched in front of a Maple tree.  I thought the out of focus background was colorful and unusual.  Taken yesterday in my back yard.

Maroon Bells

The Maroon Bells are the most photographed mountain peaks in Colorado.

Mabry Mill

Mabry Mill is an iconic landmark along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Southern Virginia.  Built in 1910, it served the local community for over 20 years grinding corn for cornmeal, grits, and animal feed. It is still operational today, but more for tourists than commercial milling.
